It's a topic that deserves some debate. As a web developer, I'm all for updating browsers (especially IE5, IE5.5, IE6, IE7 and IE8) for users to have fast browsing, beautiful layouts and safer browsing. As a tech support specialist and imperfect person, I can see why IT professionals would keep users away from Firefox.
