Qual­ity Assurance

Loss Test­ing
When fiber is installed, we per­form Loss test­ing to mea­sure and record any loss (in db).  Our testers pro­vide multi-wave results, which are nec­es­sary for com­mis­sion­ing and certification.

OTDR Test­ing
An Opti­cal Time Domain Reflec­tome­ter (OTDR) is a trou­bleshoot­ing device used to locate “events,” such as splice and con­nec­tor losses. We use OTDRs that pro­vide stored results for test­ing and trou­bleshoot­ing pur­poses.
 
Troubleshooting/Repair
Regard­less of the loca­tion of the fault, splice or bend, we can locate prob­lems, pro­vide rec­om­men­da­tions and repair the damage.

Ter­mi­na­tion
There are many vari­ables – con­nec­tors, pig­tails, cas­settes, LIUs – that must work together for proper cable ter­mi­na­tion.  We deter­mine the proper course of action and deliver you a qual­ity result.

Splic­ing
Per­ma­nently or semi-permanently attach­ing two strands of fiber to each other is an exact­ing, skilled process. We use the finest equip­ment for all splic­ing ser­vices, includ­ing sin­gle fiber and rib­bon configuration.
