Quality Assurance

Loss Testing When fiber is installed, we perform Loss testing to measure and record any loss (in db). Our testers provide multi-wave results, which are necessary for commissioning and certification.

OTDR Testing An Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) is a troubleshooting device used to locate “events,” such as splice and connector losses. We use OTDRs that provide stored results for testing and troubleshooting purposes.

Troubleshooting/Repair Regardless of the location of the fault, splice or bend, we can locate problems, provide recommendations and repair the damage.

Termination There are many variables – connectors, pigtails, cassettes, LIUs – that must work together for proper cable termination. We determine the proper course of action and deliver you a quality result.

Splicing Permanently or semi-permanently attaching two strands of fiber to each other is an exacting, skilled process. We use the finest equipment for all splicing services, including single fiber and ribbon configuration.

Today's systems have unique requirements for associated hardware, software and cabling.
